Feeding the hungry and assisting with utilities in our local community is an ongoing ministry of the Church. First Church supports local shelters for the homeless and underprivileged each month. 1995 was the first year that we sent a member of our church family on a mission trip, beginning a tradition at First Church. We celebrate that many have answered the call of the "Great Commission", with persons to New Mexico, Alabama, and Africa. Missions are a vital part in the life of a church which continues to listen for God's call to service.
