Special Services

Hanging of the Greens - Sunday before Advent begins

Worship service of preparation and celebration.  During this service, people of all ages gather to participate in the decoration of the sanctuary.  Throughout the service of song and scripture, we are reminded of the meaning of many of the common symbols of Christmas.

Kneeling in Bethlehem - Sunday before Christmas

Re-enactment of the manger scene with Christmas carols.

Christmas Candlelight Service - Sunday before Christmas

Features a large choir and several instrumentalists.

Christmas Eve Communion Service - 7:00 P.M. and 11:00 P.M.

Services held at two time slots on Christmas Eve.  Features a moving closing with entire congregation singing Silent Night while each worshipper holds a lighted candle aloft.

Independence Sunday Service - Sunday closest to July 4th

This service endeavors to show the importance of the Bible and Christian faith in forming and preserving our nation.
